RAW-Link Automation

Automation in the last decades did follow the trend “smaller, faster and more intelligent”. Engineers did tell the machine via program, what to do. Now Automation is more and more associated with the terms “self-learning” and finally with “Artificial Intelligence”. New and fast network technologies, high speed processors and distributed concepts are the basis for this. RAW-Link Automation is combining comprehensive hard and software to a powerful product which satisfies “grey-” as well as “green-filed” demands.

The Hardware

The central engine of the product line UniPi Neuron is a Linux based single board computer, the product line UniPi Axon is based on Industrial Allwinner H5-powered Computer with Linus OS. Both are acting as an application host. They can appear -through third party (OEM) soft and hardware developments, as intelligent data gateway (e.g. IOT), as human-machine-interface (hmi), as programmable logic controller (plc) or as any other tailored application (open source or commercial).
Together with its multiple physical interfaces from digital I/O to wireless connection and the possibility to implement old and new communication methods and protocols, this highly flexible product can be used for many cases in fabrication-, process- and building automation as well as in process data acquisition and smart home projects

Associated Software CODESYS

CODESYS is a software platform especially designed for use in modern industrial automation projects. Its development system is made in accordance with IEC 61131-3 standard for PLC software programming. CODESYS is compatible with UniPi Neuron and their extensions

Associated Software Mervis

Mervis is a software platform for control of UniPi programmable controllers. Mervis is a set of tools and applications for advanced regulation and automation. Mervis is developed and allows programming methods in accordance with IEC 61131-3. It is compatible with UniPi v1.1, UniPi Neuron and UniPi Axon control units and their extensions.

The Application

The combination of Mervis or CODESYS with the UniPi PLC hardware is a powerful and cost efficient method to be used for many cases in fabrication-, process- and building automation as well as in process data acquisition and smart home projects. The scalability, the variety of physical connections and communication methods and protocols gives the user a flexible tool to solve his special approach.
